Dr. Farshad Fereidouni has been practicing general dentistry for more than 20 years, since he graduated in 1993 with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery in Iran. He moved to Vancouver in 2010 and became a registered dentist in BC, ranked in the top 4% of the equivalency program, conducted by National Dental Examining Board of Canada. He has actively been working at several dental offices in Downtown, New Westminster, and the North Shore.

Farshad has attended numerous continuing education courses and study clubs nationally and internationally in Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Implant, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. He has completed number one choice hands on training courses, held by the world-class leader in implant dentistry, Dr. Ken Hebbel in Toronto. He is proud to be an Invisalign preferred provider and working closely with his Invisalign mentor, Dr. David Galler, the president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontics.

As the new owner of Nimbus Dental Arts, Farshad has brought a wealth of experience to the practice in all aspects of general dentistry, as well as specialized treatments such as cosmetic dentistry, implants, Invisalign and complicated root canals. He is highly respected by his patients for his thorough and caring attitude, professionalism, and his kind, gentle manner.

Farshad and his wife enjoy their free time walking in Vancouver’s beautiful parks and beaches, exploring coffee shops and restaurants, skiing, and participating in cultural activities.

Dr. Gill has done much to assist in educating the public about dentistry, from being a featured guest on numerous radio and television talk shows to creating and hosting The Dental Show, a radio call-in program in Vancouver. He has been and continues to be an adviser, clinical tester and consultant for selected dental laboratories and dental materials companies. He is a technical adviser for dental office software.

Dr. Gill has been performing difficult cosmetic and surgical cases since 1996, combining his expertise in orthodontics, restorative & cosmetic dentistry and implantology to create natural smiles. Dr. Gill has worked with 11 different Vancouver and Lower Mainland dental offices last year, performing extractions as well as placing implants, bone grafting and assisting dentists in learning about new implant and restoration techniques.

Dr. Gill has been working with implants since 1993 and has taken many lectures and hands-on courses on implants, surgery and bone grafting, travelling to the US and to Germany to study with Dr. Paul Weigl at the University of Frankfurt School of Dentistry.

Dr. Alex Hsu was born in Taiwan and raised in Vancouver, where he attended the University of British Columbia for his undergraduate studies in Pharmacology, and Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Hsu strives to provide the highest quality of care while making sure that the patient’s experience is comfortable and stress free.

Dr. Hsu is passionate about helping others as he regularly volunteers with various organizations to provide oral cancer screening, emergency dental care and recently a dental mission trip to Jamaica.  On his off days, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking and snowboarding in the winter.
