Born in Iran, Dr. Barbad Zamiri attended Shiraz University School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated summa cum laude as a general dentist in 1989. His interest in the surgical correction of deformities led him to follow the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery at National Iranian University where he obtained his specialty degree in 1996. Deeply interested in education and research, he then joined the Shiraz University department of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He was involved in teaching, research, and clinical treatment as a full-time assistant professor then associate professor for about 25 years. During the time, he performed thousands of minor and major oral and maxillofacial surgeries, teaching hundreds of undergraduate and post-graduate dental students and published near 30 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Having moved to Canada, he successfully passed the National Dental Examination Board of Canada equivalency process and earned his Canadian licence as a general dentist. Dr. Zamiri has the honor of being a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association and International and Iranian Associations of oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Based on his academic and clinical background, his practice is focused on oral surgery. He is blessed to be a father of a daughter and a son and lives in Toronto with his family.

Born and raised in Delhi, India, Dr. Nikita Khurana chose dentistry to craft lasting smiles for her patients and help them restore their confidence. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Manipal University, India, and then pursued her interest in Prosthodontics by completing a three-year Master’s of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree from the same university. She successfully completed her dental equivalency and certification in Canada in 2023.

Dr. Khurana enjoys all aspects of general and restorative dentistry and practices a wide scope of dental procedures, including crowns, bridges, and dental veneers. Her commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry motivates her to continually enhance her skillset through ongoing education programs. She is passionate about providing personalized dental care, ensuring each patient feels comfortable and well-informed throughout their dental journey.
