Dr. Claude Boutin is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthodontics who operates a specialty orthodontic practice in Calgary, Alberta, and practices at Riverside Dental Clinic as a satellite office.

He completed his dental training at the University of Alberta in 1986 and practiced general dentistry for 3 years in Alberta before enrolling in graduate orthodontic training at the University of Toronto in 1989.
Dr. Boutin holds a Fellowship in the Specialty of Orthodontics with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is recognized by the Alberta Dental Association as a certified specialist. He strives to remain at the forefront of emerging technologies in orthodontics and attends national meetings and orthodontic conventions every year, as a member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Boutin has been active as an executive member of the Alberta Society of Orthodontists and in facilitating local scientific sessions for the Canadian Association of Orthodontists. He has been invited to lecture at the American Association of Orthodontists largest annual meeting.

Dr. Boutin and his wife Diane are busy raising four children and they feel privileged to support community projects that focus on families, especially ones like the new Alberta Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Poznikoff is the Owner and a General Dentist at Riverside Dental Clinic.

He has been serving the Drumheller Community for over 30 years and continues to accept new patients.

Dr. Poznikoff graduated from the University of Alberta in 1986 and Holds B.Sc. degrees in both Science and Pharmacy. He has completed numerous educational courses in Orthodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, and Restorative Dentistry.

Dr. Poznikoff also has hospital privileges at the Drumheller Regional Health Complex and provides surgical procedures and dental rehabilitation under general anesthetic.

His focus is on building long-term relationships where his patients look forward to seeing him and his staff as much as he personally enjoys educating and treating them. He is dedicated to continuing education for general and cosmetic dentistry as well as orthodontics so that he can provide his patients with the most up to date procedures and technology in the dental field.

I graduated from dental school in 2002 from the University of Alberta and practiced as an owner and a lead dentist in Tuscany for 17 years. I’ve always enjoyed the vibrant downtown culture and I am excited to be part of a downtown practice where I can offer a variety of services to our patients. I perform all components of dentistry but am particularly interested in surgical procedures such as Wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, and grafting procedures. Patient education is as important to me as the actual dental procedures; communication is key.
